MINIMIZE WASTE WITH MX FACTOR'S CANISTER EXCHANGE SYSTEM

We live where you live. Whether you’re using aerosol cans or aqueous parts washers, waste, sometimes hazardous, is being generated.

Every used aerosol can eventually ends up in a landfill. On average, two ounces of solvent are left in every discarded aerosol can. For the average user who disposes of 3000 aerosol cans per year, that equates to 47 gallons of solvent absorbed into our environment per user per year (See Figures below). The average parts washer uses 15 gallons of a water-based solution to clean parts. An average part has 2 ounces of oil and grease to be cleaned.

Let’s ask the question: Why contaminate 15 gallons of perfectly good water with 2 ounces of oil and grease? Now 15 gallons of hazardous waste has been created and needs to be properly processed.
